Hey, I am Nico Dewaele, an amateur photographer based in Belgium in a city called Wielsbeke, my interest in photography is purely as a hobby but it became more and more of a passion to me. I want to stay amateur because now I do what I want to do and I want to keep it that way!
Photographing Soccer is my passion because after an active period of playing soccer it now feels like I’m still part of the game by capturing the action.
In 2009 I had the opportunity to join the photographers team of de Belgian professional soccer team SV Zulte Waregem (www.svzw.be). I also try to be present as much as possible when a Belgian national youth team has to play in our own country. And what I certainly do not want to miss is the KDB Cup (Kevin De Bruyne Cup) where I'm part of the photographers team since the start in 2016.
So if I’m not watching my son playing soccer during the weekend you know what I am doing…
